I have been added to the Macquarie Dictionary's online edition as the pictorial description!

Quick update... as per usual this time of year I'm buried in my office for Tax Season but I did manage to arrange for the car to be trailered to my body works to get a quote on straightening the cross member where Squirt (original owner of the shell - it was a car but not much is the same now :P ) had an argument with a kangaroo now touches on the dump pipe as it was made for the donor car (see page 11).

Anyway, with a little drama (flat battery and no cash for the towy as it was in my pocket and not with the Mrs!) the car got to the body shop. Who, after looking at it, said they didn't want to try and fix it but to get a tow strap and another car and gentle pull it out the 10mm it needs!

I had been joking with mates about doing this, turns out I should have just gone and done it :P

you could also use some heavy duty ratchet straps, a lever block ( come along ) or a hand winch

Haha, I'm not that rural just yet  a mate with a Ford Ranger and a snatch strap should do the trick :)

So an update of sorts for those asking... Nothing has been done on the car but it has moved house (hopefully for the final time!) At this stage, short of a miracle, there are no short term plans for work on the car, other than maybe fitting up a few things i have had put aside for it forever and the odd wash and idling run to keep the engine ticking over as I've got a lot of other major expenses now after buying the new house and having a new baby.... Will I ever finish? I hope so! When? No idea.

The feeling most people have when undertaking a build. This needs to be added to your signature :D

Congrats on successfully moving house (finding one actually!) and the newest addition to a house that is not mechanical! All the best pal.

 Thanks Champ! I'm hopeful of finding a way just no idea how at this stage. The jobs to get done (that I'm aware of) are low in number but big in $ so not sure how it gets done but will certainly have a crack!

Job #1 is get all the house crap out of the garage so i can get the car into it's new home!
