Left side of the widebodykit is on the body now! Chopped the rear gaurds into piecies for some more room
Have a pair of 205/50r15 semi's here to test out firstly.. Then when i need new tires, i want to use 225/45r15 on 8"wide rims.

So here are the pics!

I'm going to widen the frontlip to the gaurds & add some canards maybe
On the rear i'm rolling stock rear mk3 gti bumper, and add big diffuser+canards like the DTM cars have

New brakes, just need to make brackets & hoses..

Wilwood Dynapro's with Wilwood Poly-A pads!
Honda disc's.. 282mm ;)

Image

Engine to run while setting up the car:
ITB's
Catcams camshafts
4-1 manifold with 2" exhaust
Adaptronic ECU + usual random stuff
Should run quite nice :)

Image

Also on order, new wheels. The other wheels coulndt be sourced in normal times..
So now i ordered a set of XXR 527 15x8.25 ET0 wheels..
Yes i'm chopping up the arches ect!

Why people dont simple Cut along under the gaurds and pull the guard out by an Inch or two then fill in the door side is beyond me.

Its simple welding and filling and from the side you retain that factory rear guard look you can also add side vents near the doors. The only issues I see is what people might do the side skirts but thats opens up many options as well.

Have a small break from work this week so i now have some time to kill.
I've started building the downpipe today :) It's 3" :)
Image

I'm now in doubt to use the modifies ca18 manifold.. I think i might make a brand new manifold from scratch.. Problem with the ca18 manifold is that it positions the turboinlet between 3&4th cilinder.. And then i will run out of space for the downpipe cause turbo can only be hung in 1 way.. Oh well, time for a new one :)

Well, they fit
Really happy with them, need to solve some clearance issues in the front, but that was to be expected with these wheels!
The 282 brakes fit real easy, maybe 300's might even fit! 8) But this is more then enough brakepower.. Now rear needs to be upgraded, stock brakes in rear is unvisible now haha

Brakes are done, full copper brake tubing with balance adjuster next to my seat.
Only 1 thing remains, have to shorten my brake hoses, wich is no problem because i made them using AN fittings 8)
I think this will do the job quite nicely when i get some more power to the wheels :)
