Itsmad was on dyno this morning , on pump fuel , and on all 4 wheels , this car is going to make some serious power ,on 10psi at 9,500 rpm , yes thats right 9,500 rpm , it made 200hp at all 4 wheels , didnt get to put timmnig in to it , and didnt get to finish the dyno , had a problem , snapped all fly wheel bolts , so cars going back on dyno wednesday to get finished ,this car is going to make well over 300hp at all 4 wheels on pump fuel , this car has always been impressive , and its still going to be up there , after its been dynod and making over 300hp , the turbo will be for sale , its a little to small , going bigger , ITSMAD is back .......!

Even have a video if that makes you feel better, was holding off til the full tune was done. The flywheel bolts was an oversight, but its being rectified this evening, and it will see some real boost either tomorrow or wednesday. The turbo is too small, knew that to begin with, but we'll see what it can do with a little bit more boost on pump, before running c16 in it. I dont even think there's a point running C16 with this turbo. The GT2876R's exhaust side is simply too small, even with the .86 rear housing. Turbo is just too mismatched.
It has a nice powercurve, ramps up from about 4000-4500rpm, from 5000-9500rpm is very smooth.

These are the only pics I have here at the office, its pretty much the same, minor details visually have changed on the engine. Cooler piping, bov, and a few others, most of the changes are internal. Will put newer pics up after the dyno with the new wheels/tyres etc.

good to see it getting back in the scene.. the reputation will be kept if you can put out the HP you say :D awd madness!! needs a mk3 conversion on the interior though :D although that might add .1 secs down the 1/4 hehe

Its actually 191.3hp@9.5psi, mind you it has bugger all timing, due to the flywheel bolts ending the tuning session. Will go over 200hp@10psi with the additional timing, and a hell of alot more with some boost.

TAKE NOTE: This is on straight BP Ultimate 98 Octane Pump fuel, no race fuel tunes will happen on this turbo setup, as its already a restriction.

You asked for a video, enjoy

P.S. For the skeptics, if it was in fwd, even at this tune level it would be over 200hp@wheels, this was done in awd, there's approx 5-7% less power in awd.

Also, going forward it will be getting a larger turbo before jambo, as this one is a restriction, and a few other changes, including C16 and slicks

why?

part of its culture and heritage is the way it looks - and being a Mk2 and its interior is also part of that - like the Simmons on a Brame.

Good to see this car coming back.

i think simmons on a brame is different, and i think that the MK2 interior is pretty average and crappy compared to something that looks much nicer and cleaner such as a mk3 interior. He's gone to the effort of doing the back end to mk3 so he's obviously not worried about keeping it original.

back on topic do any other damage with the flywheel coming loose?

The door trims are more mk2.5, electric mk3 bottoms with mk2 top.. I actually like the square cluster surround :) Matter of taste.

Nope, no damage, just sheared all 6 bolts, lol... stupid oversight really, but hey, no harm done.
