Bummer, they have the Ignis as a repairable write off, wouldn't think it could be fixed looking at that side shot? I wonder what it will go for, wouldn't mind having it for spares but for the fact it is in Vic. In car cameras can be good, but can also be bad in your case, although it was pretty obvious who was at fault.

It went for $700 in the end. I might keep a look out for it and see whether it ends up being salvaged for parts or fixed and reregistered.

Did you consider getting a used Iggy? Was that an option with the insurance agency?

It was either that, a used ~2006 Swift Sport or a new car. TBH I just hate the used car game, and the only new cars I actually like were around $30K (Swift Sport or GT86).

Bugger!

I'd be interested to know how many are actually on the road still in Australia. There's always a couple for sale on the net, but I've only seen one in 2013 so far *and it was on the Gold Coast*. None on the road at all last year, they're bit of a rarity here in VIC I think.

That crash looks to be on lygon street before brunswick rd. Flower shop is a give away.

BTW we can do a meet around Brunswick I do own a restaurant around there with a good carpark.

If there is an interest in meeting up, I will create a new thread & try organise a date/time to suit everyone

Iggyrs2, any chance of a discount on meals for fellow Iggy owners?

It's been a year since I saw one in the wild. Even then, I highly suspect it was the one I ended up buying a couple of months back.
