Hey, I'm thinking about buying a Kizashi. It's about time we had a dedicated section for one.

Happy to add this if the demand is there.

Are you going the AWD version?

Be very wary of buying a kizashi, lots of electrical problems , even having transmission problems with the auto ones. They have become a absolute headache for any that get damaged and require electrical parts .For example I know of one in Perth atm that got caught in the floods in Qld they have now spent over $10,000 replacing electrical components and the car still has issues. If you need airbags for one suzuki list price is almost $12,000 for an airbag kit, and they go off very easily(like the 05/10 swift). The other thing is no one is doing parts for them other than suzuki.I hate to say it but a late model falcon would be a much better buy.

Thanks for the info, I've had a bit of read of some of the overseas stuff, but didn't realise they were having problems. I guess every model has "lemons", but you'd think Suzuki would be looking after them with their warrentee.

I was thinking about buying one from Pickles and fixing it up like I've done a few Swifts, but Dave's scared me off a bit now. I do like Sport model, but at $30k, I might look around and see what else is around.
