Hi guys i'm thinking of using honda p06 chipped ecu + honda distributor + Honda intake manifold + honda Tb + sensors( iat, tps, map, clt,...) to manage the gti, i already played enough with original ecu wideband and ostrich, and is time to ditch, honda distributor needs a plate adaptor and vane extender/adjuster)what are your thoughts? This has already been done in toyotas and nissans.

Surely a plug and play self learning ecu from Adaptronic would be far cheaper and definitely easier?

Not in my case, as i already have been using Honda 58mm TB, just need ecu and distributor and something to drive the tachometer but i already found something to take care of that, and i don't want maf sensor anymore, i also have a megasquirt 2 but its for the baleno. Honestly even if i had to obtain the sensors and everything i get a full programmable ecu for less than 400€.
Later this year i will post all the steps.

Sounds interesting to me. I'll look forward to those posts! From memory the Adaptronic plug and play setup is about $1000AUD
