Well hi everyone, Great site!

Real name is Stacey but I prefer stace.

Im 22. Orig. from north of Newcastle but now live in The Shire (Sydney for all you out of state) with my hubby and my 5 month old son.

Ive owned my suzi for 5 yrs now. Its a 94 Cino, slowly doin it up its about to undergoing a transformation into a GTi Turbo =P~ . Its purple and the interior is aqua. It rides on 17s and is lowered and dressed in a jetspeed bodykit. Sounds come via my jvc head unit, speakers and subs with a ps2 as well.

It's great to see that others are obsessed with their pride and joy just like me. I don't know many other people with zukes so i hope to join in a cruise and meet up with you all in the near future.

Ciao

Wassup everybody!

My name is Rogelio or "Roger".
Born and raised in Los Angeles California.
I am in the United States Air Force...my job is mechanical engineering and repair.

I am currently stationed in Dover, Deleware(near New York)....hate Deleware by the way!

I have a 1994 US spec Swift GT. When I was stationed in England(seven years...LOVE England!), I fell in love with the GTi. I found it to be more fun and unique than the Ford Escort RS Turbo I was previously modifying(respect to Ford anyway).

I have just recenty purchased the 1994 Sift I now have.
Mods are: Ford Escort RS Turbo Recaro seats(had to do it!)
Mocal thermostatic oil cooler
Mocal oil catch can
Pipercross air filter from an Cossie RS500(just can't leave Ford completely!)
Rally chip(yet to be installed(emissions test first!)
Super Pro rear engine mount
OMP front and rear strut brace
15" alloys
white face gauges
Body kit from 1990 GTi(the only one to have in my opinion)

Future mods are to boost the hell out of it and easily walk down the quarter mile in 12 sec. Just trying to weigh all the options as far as turbo kit and emmisions leagalities of it all.

This site is priceless! The wealth of information and free exchange of information is unmatched by any other site I've come across. If there were membership dues to pay...I would! Keep up the great work Redline Staff!

-Peace out!

Well... in 1993 there was a special version (only in Holland I guess) called a Rascal Swift.
It was a standard GTi with wide body kit and a special chip delivering 118 hp. This kit was maked by Eurocaro as sort of extra option.
A company in Holland now make the Rascal body kit as a after market kit. You can find them at http://www.boschpolyester.com (in dutch only).

hi i'm new here.

i'm 18 years old and live in Wynnum, on the south-east side of brisbane (RESTECP-yeh that's right restecp)
i just sold my 2001 mitsubishi lancer GLXi and bought a 1990 model swift GTi from some random guy for $3000. mechanically it is fine, goes hard. i bought one that needs a little bit of cosmetic work because i want to put some effort and work into it myself.
it's a GTi1300, only mods to it are side skirts, and mags, other than recaro seats, and a modified gear box.

i will post some pictures shortly.

i got interested in GTi's when a friend of mine in townsville had a 1600, turbo that went nuts, so fast. so when an opportunity came up to get one myself, i couldnt really pass it up.

essentially i am looking for someone in bris, preferably south south-east side (i live in wynnum), who has had one of these from scratch, someone to cruise around with, show me where they got mods done, what they've got done, and just to help me learn more about the car as i go along. if there is anyone here who fits that description and is looking to make a new mate, and help someone start their new project, relpy here.

Cheers
Pat
