I will be painting mine Polynesian Green to match my car soon, and think it may be a first, as I have never seen one painted to match the car before. Only carbon or the original finish. If anyone has a pic of one painted up, please share.

My hatch (or as you guys refer to it, boot lid/glasshouse etc) is already green and I already matched my bumpers too. Plus I love to be different. And the wing in black blends in too much I think.

Really old picture of the car, and I'll be running a MK3 GTi bumper with euro tail lights too. Thanks for the pic Z GT-i. Hope to see some more.

Hi,

Teamswift member yummybacon had a red one. Unfortunately the pictures have disappeared from the site for some reason (?)

Maybe send him a pm if he is still active.

Cheers,

Drew

I did see his post on TeamSwift asking for color opinions, but no pic there either. Thanks I'll try a PM.

Thanks for posting them up. See, that doesn't look bad at all, especially with the bonnet (C-pillars) body color too. Wish there was a shot looking straight at the rear, but these are better than nothing.

Hi,

A quick lesson in Australian vehicular vernacular just for you:

A bonnet is not a C-pillar. Ever. [-X

Rather, it is what we call a 'hood'. Geddit? Bonnet looks like Hoodie...

A trunk is referred to as a 'boot' here. Go figure on that one.

And from another recent thread I have absolutely no idea what the term 'glasshouse' refers to... (?)

Please enjoy these gems of new-found knowledge and share responsibly!

Cheers,

Drew

Schooled, thanks. I prefer 'hood' (engine cover) and 'hatch' (rear glass door).
