Does anyone know this car? From the video (in the link) it's had some serious work done, while I"m not a fan of the look, the quality of the work looks top notch!

It was kicking around when i was doing the show circuit in mine.

The build quality was cool shame to see swift owners bashing it on facebook.

It looks awesome. I personally haven't seen anyone knocking this setup.

Beats the s**t out of R Baby's build haha

I had a good look around this car and there was some amazing bits of fabrication throughout the engine bay, but there's no way it should have been in the Elite 60 hall at Summernats. Perfect for Auto Salon, but the awful bonnet cutouts, poorly fitted bodykit, over the top PAINT ALL THE THINGS interior, it just wasn't up to an elite car standard. To give credit, the quality of the paintwork and airbrushing were excellent, which explains why it picked up a trophy for best graphics. More interesting was that it also won a trophy for 'top sport compact' - despite the giant LCD TV wedged in the boot.

Comments from the punters in the hall were not complementary, as you'd probably expect from a Summernats crowd.

Its interesting to see one of these cars live on. The only knocking of the car i have heard from gti guys is about what gearbox it might have for those 185kw @ 14psi, oh and that power from 14psi. But good luck to them i say. Hopefully they bring the thinking on our little cars back around again :)

To be fair we're talking about a motor built in the early 2000s, when 185kw ATW would have been considered big power out of a G13B. Although when you listen to the guy rattle off the list of engine mods it makes you wonder how they didn't get more power out of it. Who knows, maybe it was smashing gearboxes and they decided not to turn up the wick.
It's all speculation without talking to the guy who built it.

Yeah that is a solid effort even now, that is why i was hoping someone might know the car so we can get some better details on it. I would love to know more :)
