Sadly, this is true :(
Which is why there are so few SA413GTi's remaining...
The scarcer they become, it stands to reason that the values for the "better" ones have to start to climb.
Hang onto 'em guys - it'll be worth it in the long run \:D/

Have to agree, maybe make some money, but definitely not easier to part out, and you will take months to sell.

As for the price, $700 is about the price for a car that needs work (that is usually why no RWC or rego) but if you have one in good condition, with RWC etc, you can make a lot more money. I saw a nice red 1987 Mk1 here in Qld sell for $2,100 last week.

The car was in good original condition, it had original plates and RWC (only mod was contemporary 14in mags) and only had 155,000 on clock. Very clean, was a private sale advertised for $2500 so the price is starting to climb.
