File comment: Good for now, but I can't leave things alone so, strut braces, cold air, chip and cams in future plans.

I bought a $800 '93 barina for a cheap second car. It handled like crap so I put bigger wheels on it. The shockies were stuffed so I got some new ones and put king springs in while I was at it. Handling much better now. It was gutless so I got extractors and K&N filter and 2"exhaust. A bit better, but that was enough for now. Then the old tint was peeling off the windows so I bought some tint and put it on, looked kind of cool now. Then the factory stereo was crap so I got a good one and some good speakers, now I can hear the music. Then my wife had an accident and it was a write off. I found some panels at a wrecker and they were gti bits. Got the panels, seats, and spoiler. Had the panels painted and the rear bar looked out of place. Found a gti one at a wrecker, painted it with spraycans, looked pretty good. While looking around I found a rear swaybar and put that on. The car was looking nice and driving well, but the engine was worn and smoky. The guy I got the swaybar off sourced me a gti engine and ecu and loom. Very long story cut short, I put the engine in and put extractors and pod filter on that(after gutting the whole car and rewiring it etc, etc). And of course I had to get the gti cluster with the 9k tacho aswell. Now the car is great and has character. I will do more but am going to do and engine conversion on my old import skyline first. I know there are heaps of better gti's on here, but it's much better than the $800 barina I started with.
