Ahh right. I didn't realise the boot lid was metal. Assumed it was either fibreglass or plastic.

don't worry about it cappo your build has what everyone would love to have rear wheel drive.all I'm doing is cosmetic and bolt on parts. you are doing a true engineered build and fabricating your own parts.

getting ready for a disco potato garrett gt2860 . dialing in the cat cams 6700604 to run the turbo with less overlap so it doesn't interfere with the turbo pressure. true top dead centre first

any body brought these autotecnica alloy gauge pods ? i had to bore out .8mm of the insert to suit the 53.0mm diameter gauge . is it the cheap gauges that is problem or the pods ? could some one measure up a good quality 52mm gauge for me ? i will be getting a good quality wide band air /fuel gauge soon and i would like to know the diameter before i bore the inserts all out at 53.1mm.

thanks gtp is that a accurate measurement or a ruler or whats written on the box ? the gauge box advertisement shows 52mm gauge but it is 53mm. these cheap gauges fit snug in a cheap plastic pod.

Verniers, had to water cut the dash insert on the escort and it was drawn at 52 for cutting so had to measure actual diameter as I hate filing/grinding.
