the pulleys made in china had the timing mark opposite the keyway but the mark was set on the top of the tooth not on the bottom of the tooth like the factory pulleys. so the chinese pulleys were half a tooth out when set at 0 deg..as for modified adjustable version off the donor car i will have to take closer look but that was the way set up when i got the car..the image shows alignment with the keyway and the bottom of the tooth after i drill and tap the alignment holes and 0 deg. anyhow it worked out in the end

thanks again to justin for the control rods.redid the arse end again,removed the standard height king springs opt for lowered, looks much better .


and replaced with koni adjustable shocks also replaced control rods

the cultus convertible import comes with rear fog lights in middle ,where as the aussie swift is a reflector . so i rewired it as extra stop lights and replaced all with led globes. bright as........

good news on the cat cams ,i emailed cat cams with a reply of not a problem using with a turbo ,just dial in the cams 110deg btdc for intake and 120deg atdc for exhaust .also sent me the specs for turbo use of my cams

engine bay cleaned up well no leaks oil & water 65.8kw atw on dyno, now to prepare for turbo kit

thanks stinky ,I'm getting a lot of negative feedback from mates ,family,rednecks and other dickheads about the CAR. but f**k them I'm enjoying working and spending a s**t load of money on it .its a rare car in aust. and worth f**k all even when its finish but I'm not building it to sell it.IM A INDIVIDUAL YOU CANT FOOL ME.

not sure what your on about but the boot lid that the wing is sitting on is the original convertible boot lid is metal .the lid that covers the convertible top is plastic.
