Race.

Yeah, nothing's final as I still have to machine bushes up, I'll try and get them down on the floor tomorrow.
I did have the seat on them in that position and it wasn't too bad, but like you said still too high..

This is how Ive managed really low seat rails in the Escort.
the lower rails have side mount mounts in the traditional orientation which has me about 90mm lower than similar setup to yours it had previously.
the new seat with wings was a tad wider so I inverted the mount and hung the seat from it, that's what he structure on the trans tunnel is. gets me about 30mm closer to center.

I'm taking your advice GTP and doing something similar. The seat bars no matter what I do are going to be too high..

Also I've made some progress on the cage. Pretending to know what I'm doing..

d. Are you talking un opened motor?

With a fair bit of cash you could potentially see 220-250hp N/A out of one. The parts are already available but the $$ required to do it is a bit scary..

Finished the cage off today, well it's only tacked together. I have got to remove it all, clean the paint off footing and gusset areas and drill through the floor for the main hoop to drop into. (To get the welds ontop of front/rear legs)

yep un-opened bottom if comp is near 10:1 but cams at least
and springs for 100kws atw

As for expensive, using the right cams without touching valves
just springs and billet camshafts and either shaving the head
or using serious pistons and the usual H beam rods for something
around 14:1 compression to run e85 I think you can get reasonably
cheap hp for an NA setup.
Probably 800 for cams, 200 for springs, 600 for rods and 800 for
pistons but with what you have now 140kw atw should be possible
but not sure on e85 near you or convenience of it near the track

100kw is definitely achievable without opening the bottom end.. I'll be looking into more power once I have had a decent drive the way it is.

E85 is a 2 min drive to the United up the road so im laughing..

Why double intrusion Simon? I'll probably stick with the single for now. As it is already in there

Nothing like a good set of beef curtains on your cage..
