The reasons you will fall well short of your goals are...
A .The g13b head will not flow 210hp n/a, it will peak flow at approx 7000rpm with 1.7 making over 100hp per litre if your head is good.
B.The piston speed with a 90mm stroke using a factory height g16 block will not sustain the engine living anywhere near 10,000rpm you propose no matter what pistons ,rods and crank you use.
C. Hydraulic lifters wont work well at 10000rpm with the cams you propose.
D. RPM... RUINS PEOPLES MOTORS ...peaky engines never work well with poor factory ratio's even with a low final drive, compared to a well thought out combination.
E. Engine life is logarithmic to rpm.
F .Attempting to re-invent the wheel is developmentally challenging even with factory backing....ask monster..
G. Glad to proven wrong!

I didn't see anyone talking this project down, what I saw were forum members with knowledge and experience giving realistic and logical opinions, the reality is when you have to start over with a new block then thats the time to research all options and make a decision on what is going to be competitive for your budget and class of racing.
There are some serious design limitations in this engine that are difficult to overcome if you are to compare it to B16's or 4age's, thats not to say you can't make a competitive engine but does require a big budget and an experienced engine builder if you want it to be reliable.

Good luck with the project.

Thanks to a few positive convo's with other members, I have decided to continue this thread.
Ok just letting you all know that There has been some misunderstanding.
The engine will not be revving to 10000rpm.
That was a misunderstood convo with my builder.

We understand the complications this block has had in past attempts and we will try our best for a stable outcome.
Thanks
Craig.

found the right combination of uppers and downers?

Blake has shown how a properly built girdle should be ,that Indian thing is a peice of junk with packers between it and the main caps.
Good luck with it all .

excellent thread, man, can wait to see how it develops.

I personally have a G16A, which I'm slowly taking it to the next level.

I'm gonna keep the original SOHC head though... lots of torque.

I'm using Quad carbs (mikuni) 41mm, but my engine internals remain stock.

But I'm gonna follow lots of tips from your build! :D, no doubt!

I want to squeeze 200 hp out that g16 hehe. I'm a true believer it can be done.

looking forward for more updates, good job 1600GTI!!!

Heya Carlos great news, theres a Peruvian with the g15a and g13b head doing well with 41mm carbs as well and close ratio gearbox, supposedly has the fastest NA swift in the world so far with the G series engine.
