I'll take some pics of the mounting points on the car a little later...basically its flat steel plates I used! Btw...there are maybe about 10 of the 1.6swifts in Trinidad if so much! So u can see where I'm going with this! I'm ok with the swift gti/starlet ep91 axle cut and join because they are roughly the exact same diameter! Makes it easy to taper and weld..plus the added benefit of the sleeve! My friend however got a single axle fabricated and resplined to fit both ends! The only thing is that its kinda costly! But that's my next target, with respect to axles!

8) cool title, you've done a neat job restoring it
Ever thought about putting a gun metal pearl on the black wheels to tie it all together?

Would be interesting to know how much more weight is over the front wheels now than before.

Is there anyone over there that has a set of Corner Weight scales?
If not even just a acurate weigh bridge will be able to get your overall weight and considering you didnt put any extra weight in the front the difference will be all over the front anyways..

Once you have this you can work out roughly what spring rate you will need to atleast go back to the same suspension frequency you had before where the car worked well.
