Were you in Morphett Vale last night/early morning? If so you had no rear lights and possibly a blown right indicator as your indicators were blinking very fast.

So I finally got my air con fixed and re gassed after waiting 3 weeks to get one of the pipes fixed and now when I turn on the AC my car jumps and splutters :/ anyone have any ideas on what it would be?? Its not the timing but even after I turned off the AC it still stalled its only been happening since I got the AC done about 2 days ago.

Im guessing something to do with the idle up solenoid (or whatever mechanism) as when A/C is turned on I believe the idle should increase to accommodate the extra load. probably not working.
Im sure someone who actually knows will be along Im guessinga s I said.

so I worked out that my step up motor is playing up which is why my car stalls with the A/C on and I am getting it checked out tomorrow :D
I've ordered red leds to put in the back of my swift and I am looking forward to putting them on.
does anyone have any ideas on what I could buy to give my swift a bit more power??

Depending on how much you want to spend to give it more poke, i Run a ECU Exchange Service. $100 from Adelaide also gives you good bank for buck

best bet is have a read through the Tech FAQ's about budget mods, but the VERY first Mod you should do if its not done is the ECU from Gtaye! :)

Ill definitely see if i can get an ecu chip off you Gtaye I just have to do a couple things first :)
Got the step up motor checked today and I found out its for a carby motor, the previous owner obviously didnt realise that :/ hopefully it should be all finished with a new proper motor by Thursday :)

thanks Chris (gtaye) you should see it now though I degreased the motor
and engine bay, it looks so much cleaner then when you saw it and the ECU
was the best $100 I have ever spent :)
next thing to do to the car would be sr20 throttle body and fuel pressure regulator

ok so i went for a cruise with some mates today to tech port was a good day... Until i hit a sink hole on the dirt road and my rear mount gave way so i couldnt select gears properly, ripped my air intake hose and pulled the speedo cable out..which led to me having to get my dad to tow me back to his work shop :/ ill be tinkering with it tomorrow with the mechanic
