Got the cultus rear bar fitted and after 14 months of ownership finally cleaned up the door trims.

Bad news, I got defected today on a closed road at a hillclimb event. Even though I wasn't competing, simply turning into the carpark. Defect is for tyres sticking out the guards which I accept is my fault so no one to blame but myself. I will try to put her through the vehicle inspection centre but I have doubts. If she doesn't pass there will be some goodies up for sale.

Why not just put stock parts back on for the pits? And the goodies back on when it passes

That's what I am going to do but I'm doubting she'll pass because of rolled guards

Rolled gaurds won't be an issue man, if you're concerned (assuming the reason is for petruding edges a risk to pedestrians) just point them back down so they aren't petrudiing chuck on some small wheels (feel free to borrow mine) and beat them back into shape afterwards.

But yeah absolutely sucked to hear about the defect
