Did you clean that radiator during the accident repair?

Nah I've got a new aluminum radiator to go in so I didn't worry about it.

Got the front coilovers fitted today, running negative .75 camber. Turning left the car just sticks unbelievably well but turning a hard right the tyres squeal a bit. Might need another wheel alignment.

Your toe in would be a result from changing the bushes.
Also adding the offset castor bush would have changed the toe.
Does the steering feel more responsive?

I like the oil cap.
Is it a good seal/fit?
Looking good mate.
Can't wait to see what you do next :)

A word of warning, don't try opening the cap when its hot. The plastic ones are better when the engine is hot.

You speak from experience lawry? Thanks Craig
Yeah oil cap is a nice fit and nice quality. The toe changed after installing the front coilovers.

I don't plan on opening it hot anyway lol. On a side note, wound the coilovers down today for a bit more low.

Hi omg gti,

Interested to find out where you got the coilovers and how much.

Car looks great.

Looking at supercharging our gti, just to be different.

We use ours for track days and motokarna.
So the sc will be a good mix without the turbo lag for motokarna.

Thanks
Matt

Picked up another Gti today, completely stock and very straight. Will be fixing this one up for a new daily. Big plans for the other one.
