Not quite the result I'd hoped for, and I have my own ideas as to why. But the car made 137hp.

I have the real vtec rocker system here I can put in with some type r cams, should net a few more ponies.

Maybe just an honest dyno operator... if there is such a thing? :o

Cheers,

On the up side it does give you more reason to keep working at it.
My neighbour is a Honda freak and we've been discussing your mod since you started it, I can PM you some sources for info if you're interested. (but I figure you're already covered.)
Looking forward to see how it progresses.

The dyno sheet looks ok.

But wheel spins at 60km and then over fuels in the mid area and come good up top end.

It should have a nicer/cleaner line from 60km to 130km. My guess its over fueling between these points

Believe me, I'm far from happy with the tuning that's been done, but after paying for a poor job the coffers are empty for a while when it comes to a car that I haven't raced in well over 2 years!! Time to get out and use it a bit

I wouldn't say I regret not going with a tuner I knew more about ( I knew what the risks were) it was more to satisfy my curiosity..............shame I have an expensive curiosity at times.

As its worked out I would have ended up on the dyno a second time soon enough once I change cams over anyway so all in all it's not too bad......137hp n/a in a swift should be pretty fun still!

What's the story ben, even with a standard computer it should be better than that.

I think there is something just NQR. Did you do any of the tuning/ecu install?

Have you thought about putting the single throttle body & manifold back on

It would be interesting to see whether this would be more compatible with the standard cams

Did the tuner do the AFRs for each 1000rpm rev range

Best of luck Ben. It is not easy being a pioneer

Cheers Steve
