Thank you FlyingGrape! We thought that it had around 200-220 at the wheels. As we don't have any experience with turbocharged Swifts, I thought that I could ask you about it for you, guys in Australia, have plenty!

Here is a little update as well. These bits have just arrived from the galvanizers:

Finally, the EBC Greenstuff brake pads have arrived. There were some Bilstein coilovers for sale some days ago, those were also purchased:

The screen of the VEMS ECU has also arrived. There is no decision about its place yet.

I also have Bilsteins like that but they didnt have that much camber built in, so I modded them and made them adjustable height by duplicating the Knuckle holes so I could lower it without hitting the CV boots. Are you going with adjustable strut tops?

Thank you Bergerman, we really appreciate your words. I'm glad that you liked it!

Yes d, thanks to God, it seems that it is not that bad. :)

That is a good question pictureshowman! He bought these because compared to their value, they were offered at a fairly low price (he payed about 170AUD for these 2 Bilsteins). He says that he haven't thought about it yet but yes, it seems that he will be going with adjustable strut tops.

210 at 6500 rpm, what final drive ratio do you have?

It's time to update this thread.
We have bought some original lips. The front one is a mark2 GTi front lip, I am quite sure everyone knows it very well. The rear lip was made for the standard mk3 bumper (non-GTi). It is interesting that there is no part number on the front lip, only the manufacturer's name. I suppose that's because this is one of the first lips made. The manufacturing date on it is : 2/1989.

Also, here is a video which was taken when the car achieved the 13,6 at the strip.

Nicely done so far! Really great engine work! I really like the mk 2 lip and the mk 3 gl lip! They are very rare. I got a question.Where do you find the manufacturing date?

On my mk 2 rear lip I see this:

=D> I just finished reading through all 6 pages of this build.
Thoroughly enjoyable read.
My only question, the rear bar on yours, is it a fiberglass copy (one piece)
Or have you putties over the joins.?
I might replicate that mk4 rear end on the wife's 5-door..
