The custom manifold being made of steel will transfer heat to the intake charge, which is some thing you dont want, except than it might idle smoother after cold start up. That is why they make them from alloy as it will dissipate better in a heat sink effect.

Why dont they just call it "Womenapause" instead.

hi, I have a fiat x19 with gti power unit, & I'm now building a new engine & fitting hybusa throttle bodies. Just curious: what ECU have you used?
The Bodies i have, have 8 injectors & duel butterflies.
Hope to hear from you soon, & interested in your input,
Thanks,
Bryan

Hi Brian We used Suzuki GSXR 1000 42mm quads tbs Ours are pre emission crap 2001 model We removed the 2nd set of butterfly's & rod & blanked the holes off with aluminium putty
we blocked the injector holes & run injectors in head in original GTi location

Same as mine too...

They look a lot better once all the extra bits are stripped and the holes blanked off like JasStv said. If your going to run aftermarket ECU, you can leave the TPS on.

You can see from my second picture that they almost line up perfectly to a set of standard manifold runners. I said "almost".
