Hey guys! Currently cancelled Cino build as it was unnecessary costs and have got my first GTi being freighted up from Victoria (pics further down!).

Cino was hit by Hilux and had door pushed in (will need crowbar to open) so decided the time was right for the GTi to come along. Pictures of the cino as it went along will stay up for memories

MODS:
- Fluffed up door panels and parcel tray
- Momo Steering Wheel
- Switch-Controlled interior neons in footwell (blue)
- Racing Pedals
- 500W Amplifier, 12" Sub in Enclosure, 2 6x9 mounted in parcel tray, all US Audio brand
- 4" Cannon

Here's a variety of pictures of stages through minor upgrading! Starting off with my stock standard Cino as I got it! Don't mind the L plates

Here's a picture of when I got my neons and racing pedals installed. :D Before the wheel was in!

Got myself a new headunit, Kenwood with bluetooth and ipod direct connection. Also, the steering wheel took a good while to get in because I didn't have a wheel puller and had to use Loctite Freeze Spray to shrink the metal bit holding the old steering wheel in place so i could get it off!

Next thing I did was to remove the ugly old red and black used seat covers and replace them with blue and black dragon covers to suit the colour scheme! Replaced and have my muffler ready to install! Also got myself a nice set of silver checkerplate floor mats! :D

Next thing was one of my more disliked mods  Anything to get rid of those ugly things that were on there in the first place! Took a trip down to Spotlight, got 2.8 metres of Bright Blue craftfur and reupholstered ALL of the door trims and a day later, decided to do the parcel tray as well to even out the colour. The grey didn't suit!

This is where i'm currently up to! My 16x7 rims are sitting in my room now, waiting for the funds to afford the tires i'm going to be putting on them and possibly a guard roll just to be on the safe side! Also, should be installing the cannon this weekend! :D Here's a picture of the rims going to be going on!

Thanks for checking my build thread out! If you've got an idea, don't hesitate to put it up! I'd love some constructive criticism and thoughts on how to make the car look and feel a bit better! Cheers! :D

Cheers mate :D yeah I have several choices! I can either get a 4 door side skirts already made which aren't really amazing or I can get veilside ones modified to suit 4 door but it is a bit costly =/

Appears to be comin along quite nicely. Having 2 cars is a novelty until u kinda get over it like i just have. I had a 04 Mitsu lancer as a daily and an 01 Forester on 20s with amny m,ore plans which did come to fruition for wekeends. Became to costly so i consolidated and got a neat little swift (obviously).
Anyways, good luck with it all and keep us posted.

In that picture I do have a silencer on as I was testing to see how well it worked and forgot to take it off before the picture was taken #-o

Just letting all who wish to know that I am currently in negotiations for my first GTi :D

I'll be stripping this car of everything I want and wrecking it and parting out what I don't. I won't be keeping the blue fuzzies either so unless someone wants them they're going to be binned, I'm sure alot of you would like that

Good choice on upgrading, but cino parts aren't really in high demand so you're better off selling it as is instead of ripping it apart.

My cino was hit by some asshole in a hilux while it was parked on the side of the road. No details left or anything. So unless someone wants to buy a cino with a pushed in door and unknown damage beneath said door (it will need to be crowbarred open), i will get more from parting it out, even if i just sold the chassis to a wrecker! :(

Think it's avoiding the area now as I haven't seen it since.

Anywho, here are a few pictures of the GTi i've bought and am having freighted up from down in Victoria :D Here's the mods it's coming with and some details:

lowered king springs
14" mag wheels
k&n air filter
2" muffler
recent respray in purple/blue

Has a clean interior (getting full clean before shipping), paint job still perfect (getting polished before freight as well) and isn't thrashed :D Now for some pictures!

Looks nice! But you did fly down and inspect the car yeah? You didn't buy it sight unseen?

Because it's a big risk buying interstate with out going and actually looking the car over properly! I think there was a massive s**t fight on here a while back because some one bought a car that was in Sydney with out looking over it properly! When they got back home they realized how fucked the car was from previous accidents the car had been involved in... I remember the s**t fight but I can't remmember who was involved

Yeah it is a basic stock colour, he just had it resprayed in a stock colour again. Assuming he wasn't into anything fancy.

I've been very thorough with the deal, he's taken it in for a polish and a full interior clean and I'm getting receipts of the roady he did a month ago with the receipts for anything needing replacing. I'm confident that it will all go smoothly!
