Sorry I havnt updated,
The project was finished a while ago and sold to another redliner!!.
On the dyno it produced 180hp atw at ten psi boost,at 6,000rpm.Running more boost did not make any more hp and Im pretty sure thats because the inlet manifold off the m18 is very restrictive(it could also have been the std head wasnt flowing enough.)
I dont have the dyno graph here but the immpresive figure was the tourqe,it had more tourqe than a std evo9 engine.
On the road the car has plenty of get up and go,the tourqe really makes it easy to drive, if you plant your foot in third gear(3.9 cwp)it will light up the tyres .All in all a very good engine /gearbox conversion. It would be nice to see what sort of results you could get from a forged engine,(the rods in the M18 are borderline,so even if we could have got more power from the engine it would have needed better rods to make it survive),I have ordered five sets of custom rods to suit,so once they arrive I can have another play.
I have made jigs of the engine mounts so if anyone else wants to fit a m18 engine box into a mk3 then just get in touch.
