stage 2 cam.

I just fully re built a spare head i have and am planning on putting it on my J20d motor.

I got a match port done and minor polish to all the ports. i can get a re grind on my cams to stage 2. i was thinking of going to a stage 3, but the guys were saying that id need different springs and lifters/buckets if i was to go to a stage 3. this head has already had around $1000 spent on it so far, then plus the cam... i wasnt too keen to spend more on springs etc so stuck with the stage 2.

what sort of gains should i expect from the cam? 5?? 10HP?? ive never done a cam before. it will be interesting how this all turns out as the J20 is a brand new bottom end with about 5000kms on it now.

'Stage 2' is meaningless marketing bullcrap. To understand how the cams will effect performance you need to know the lift and duration @ .050.

Considering that camshaft grind is what holds J motors back (sized for fuel economy not power) do a net search on Aeriostyle Reloaded for cam grinds (lift and duration quotes not stage jargon) and results anticipated
