you might want to look at the aerio. The hub assy are practically carried over from baleno..

as for awd conversion... add a probable awd fueltank to your list. 2 fuel pumps, 1 for each bank.

Aerio... i'll look into that. on another forum i read that some guy had dropped in the suspension kit from the aerio, but he didn't leave any specs/info other then he did it.

Rear floorpan in the Wagon is completely different to the Sedan, which would make mounting the rear diff interesting.

damn, a suzuki mechanic guy i talked too said it was the same setup, or more less swapping parts... thanks for the info.

i still want to look into it though, i think that even though it would be a lot of modding, and involving a lot of money for fabrication, it'd still be tits to have a state side AWD Turbo Esteem/Baleno.

Having something unique makes a great statement, but you need the right combination of enthusiasm, time and dollars to make it happen.

I have a 2WD 1.6L SOHC Baleno here in India..

I've been struggling with the braking for a couple of years now.. I've stripped down my car to a 2 seater and lost a lot of weight in the process hoping I can slow it down... I've also upgraded to 7J wheels, Brembo rotors, and Brembo pads.. The brakes are still unsatisfactory and I'm looking for the next step.. Rear disks with brake biaser unit and upsized front disks... I can get the upsized front disks from wilwood but I'm looking for the rear disk assembly...

Can anyone of you help me in sourcing one? Help will be much appreciated :)

I'm selling a read disk brake setup in the for sale section for $200 Aud. i sold a set and sent them to Switzerland mid last year by ship. can do again if you are interested. wasn't too cheap though off memory. $120 or $150 shipping and 2 to 3 months.

Its been a while since I logged in.
I couldnt find your post.

Is it possible to install a 2006-2007 Totota Corolla complete braking kit?
It has all 4 discs and same 4x100 PCD. I can get the brake booster, lines, rotors, callipers and pads here in India rather than look for the GTX ones online and pay a fortune shipping them here and then having to pay customs and stuff.

Any suggestions?
