Greetings one and all 8)

Been a while since I've arranged one of these but thought if I'm going to do one this year
then its got to be an epic drive. If any of you have done this cruise before then you will
know that its pretty full on day. Instead of the Lake Baroon stop this time I thought a
nice cold beer and steak/chips n gravy would be appreciated at a decent Aussie pub.
http://www.aussieworld.com.au/ettamogah-pub

A 7am START to avoid traffic and considering the three hour drive plus stops etc.
We will be meeting at McDonalds - The Gap where there is a large carpark behind Maccas..
Meet you on the roof!
Not really fussed in making this an exclusive cruise. As always, the more GTi the better,
but feel free to come along in whatever mode you prefer with whoever you care to invite.

Would be good to see some old and new faces join in for the fun :D

If you have a UHF device please bring it along, we will be using CH 13 on the day.
If you have a passenger in your car please make sure they have a camera in their hands
and get snap happy on the drive  :)

For anyone who has not driven these roads before you are in for a treat that should put
your Suzuki through its paces. Click on the link for details;

Will be the one highlighted in BLUE

From Cormorant Bay past Somerset and into Kilcoy then along the DiAgular HWY..
Chuck a left and head towards Mary Cairncross Park then back down the mountain
to the pub for drinks and tourista thingys

October 26th.. November 2nd.. November 9th

Any of these dates and possibly the weekend after if the weather permits

Damn you QLD weekend weather for unpredictability!!!!!!

A run over Glorious is a keen start to the day.. LOVE YOUR WORK!!
Should you feel you are running late in such an event we could make
it easy and meet you at Somerset Dam camping grounds.. save you
having to cover double distance...

True ... Good run to the staring point..
We are coming from Morayfield
Other option is Kilcoy
But prefer the run over the mountain.....

TRU DAT!!

Have a look at the revised link on first post.. Ive used the Maccas at The Gap for other cruises
Plenty of room for parking on the visable roof top...

Im keen for including one of the best mountain runs in SEQLD!

Oh and a awesome fudge shop right next door for anyone with a sweet tooth. I personally like their new Crème brulee.

Saturday 25th - you could do the mountain on the way up or back - or both ways.

Looks like we may have to stick to original plans at the moment.....?

A 6 hour return trip plus day out might be a bit much for some people

just checked my comp dates, i should be able to make this run, depending on health etc!

would be great to get out in the mountains again...

would even be nicer if i had the new clutch, flywheel and roll centre adjusters fitted too!!! hehe

will let you closer to the date Bender!
