Ammm I might be able to find out when i get home, it should be the same line as the pulse counter speed sensor i tapped into for my HUD. Does the tacho actually talk on the bus or does it just read from the speed sensor?

If you call yourself a true friend of this guy, you would slap the s**t out of him for wanting to do something so gay......if it is infact yourself that is doing it and your using the old line "a friend of mine" to save embarrassment, then please dont do it. Not only is it tacky, it also doesnt serve a purpose when there's already one in the car. Just a target for bogans to smash and grab them and put them in their VL bombadores!

Thought so.....i didnt mind that car....except for the wheels. But i think the monster tacho is the most tackiest addition to any car (excluding the ones that dont have a tacho gauge stock and need one), especially a new swift. Goodluck though.
