Hi All,

Looking to start working on my Baleno again after 6 years (bought house, got married, etc)

She's been sat in a garage, occassional short enginer run or turnover by hand depending on state a assembley

Looking for some guidance on things I should look out for due to such a long time of her standing

Particular pipes that may have perished, gaskets, etc

Will kick of a build thread once she's relocated and I can start spending some time with her

Cheers

Kev

Hi Kev, I would just suggest a fresh tank of fuel, along with new fluids and filters... And go from there... Air in tyres, re-gas air con if it has it, etc...

Cheers Damian,

I'm just worried that hoses and things may have degraded, or am I worrying unnecessarily?

I guess any of the rubber items could be perished and perhaps it is a good idea to start fresh but where do you stop...? Tyres, drive belt(s), timing belt (in 1.6), hoses, engine mounts, etc... etc...
