Just doing a little market research on the new swift sport pricing, i know there was a topic on this before but couldn't find it.
Has any purchased one recently? and how much?
I have my hearth set on the new alto, but the sport is looking pretty good too lol
cheers

Suzuki website?
List price is $23,990 plus delivery and on roads, so at LIST price you'd be looking at about $26,000 drive away. But if you shop around different dealers etc. you might find some who are desperate to get rid of one. Look in the drive section of the paper, I've seen them in there for $23,990 drive away.
You'd be doing well to drive away for any less than $23,990.
So, much more than an Alto... but Altos are a bit of a waste of time cos their trump card was supposed to be using not much petrol, and they actually aren't that great for economy, according to some tests done by various car reviews. I'd be paying the extra for a normal Swift if I couldn't afford the Sport. Or buy a 2nd hand Sport.

Mr t - I picked up my sport a year and a half ago for 24k flat, driveaway up here in qld. They were 24990 driveaway at the time so I wouldn't be paying any more than that 24990. You should be able to do it cheaper than that though.
Do your homework, get your cash ready and go and see a few of them. Tell them you're ready to buy and sign if they do the price you want. It has worked for my last two suzuki's and I've always managed to get really good prices on them.
Have fun price hunting!
Chris

That swift on ebay is being sold as an unwanted gift... Spoilt brat... be happy with what you're given...

He probably can't drive a manual haha.
Nah unwanted gift is often a cover for something that doesn't sound too good like "We bought it and then went broke" or something.

Got my sport in October 09, dealer demo with 75Kms on the clock, $22,990 drive away... It pays to shop around and the demo's aren't a bad option with so little on the clock

thanks all for the above replies. I have decided to go with a 'triffty' option and bought the alto GTX instead. Should be in in driveway in a few days .
cheers
