If you're aiming to improve the handling try a beefy rear swaybar too. With the coilovers the bodykit might be too close to the ground - you might have to change it for a standard sport kit or a standard kit and lips.

Whiteline is 20mm, adjustable.
There is also Cusco http://www.nengun.com/cusco/sway-bars which isn't adjustable.

Supposedly they mount on different points. The Cusco one mounts right underneath the springs with just bolts, while the whiteline one is connected further back, closer to the shocks with bushes.

Looking at the size and placement of the factory lower crossmember I can't see what possible use the extra brace would be. In fact I think this was raised in another thread where the under body brace was deemed completely pointless for a new Swift.

Glad to hear it. 8)

I found the other thread about braces. The pics are gone but the braces were the same as what you are looking at. Have a read of Dave's post about halfway down:

Looking at your photo - yeah that would handle better. There isn't much worse you can do for a car's handling than to put massive rims on. (Says he with 16s on a GTi...)

Off topic - but that first photo you've got of the red car with the pod filter... man that is freakin' bad intake. I have something SIMILAR but A) my duct feeds right into the air box, not just in the general vicinity (that one he has would be taking 60% of it's air from the hot eninge bay) and B) mine just isn't as clumsy. People had a go at me for it being ugly etc - but look at THAT one. Where is that pipe even GOING?

Also - if you're looking at Coilovers, I agree with YLD80Y - get rid of the body kit. A bit of sunk cost but it'll look better & and you'll be able to drop lower.
Also before you get the BuddyClub ones, shop around for Teins.
For a while they were going as cheap as $1250 - that's a bargain. Also I heard a rumour of a place in Penrith (don't know the name, just one of a few suspension places in Penrith) that would supply and fit the Teins for $1350 total - that's even more of a bargain.

Yeah I don't really want to take the body kit off as I had the exhaust modded to go with it might be something ill have to look
Maybe put a sport front and rear on it
Might look at the koni shock setup instead of coil overs

No sorry I don't. It is a suspension place (like, specialising in suspension not just auto work in general) and it's in Penrith. There can't be more than 4 or 5 - just get the yellow pages and ring around.
