Can't wait for it to be released - it's about due, that's for sure.

That'd be there just to break up the lines so no-one knows what the hatch will be shaped like.

Quote: THE CURRENT generation of the Suzuki Swift - available in Australia since 2005 - is reaching the end of its run, and an all-new model is now on the way. It appears one last update is on the cards, however, as spy photos over the past year show. As I first read it, they're apparently suggesting the photos show one last update to the current model before the 2011 model is released. Then I read it through a few more times before I worked out they might be trying to say that there has been another update to the styling of the 2011 model before it hits showroom floors - which would make more sense had the author been able to articulate their point properly and not mangle it like a tissue in a washing machine. Rant aside, I can pick a few styling differences with the 2011 Swift, and the body also looks to have gone up a size or two in waistband. Of course this is pure speculation based on a couple of ambiguous photos, and not an opinion I would consider publishing as journalism.

I just hope it will have a more spacious luggage capacity.

It looks like the rear end has taken a slightly Megane-esque shape, which would mean more boot space.

Very impressed with my 08, would buy the new one too. If they give the DSG option for the Sport, that will open up a whole other market, very few people I know over 30y old buy manuals for everyday. I bought a manual as it is a bit more 'fun' and a normal auto would kill the 1.5L.

Well I was right about the Megane-esque bulge in the backside, but only Suzuki could find a way to make it look that bad. I was never a fan of the rear of the Swift but now it looks horrid!

Agreed. looks like an american with their pants down.
Absolutely Horrid.
That said - they'll sell millions
Edit: I hope they put a DSG in it, and not one of those stupid CVT's that is in the SX4 / kizashi.

I was looking at the Kizashi just last weekend and asked about the CVT and how often the rubber band snaps. The dealer informed me it is a chain driven CVT not belt. That should greatly improve the life of it.....

My only thoughts are how reliable is it going to be and how well it's put together.......I reckon it will be a huge seller.

Considering not much has changed from the current model I would expect the reliability and build quality will be much the same.
