I want to cool my turbo off the cold start valve so the water warms up faster in the cold weather to get the engine to run right sooner. Does anyone know which side of the valve is the pressure in side ? I figure if I hook to the pressure side and go through the turbo and then back into the valve the water will heat it up and idle better sooner.

I presume you are talking about the Thermostat, which is designed to keep the water inside the block to help heat it faster. Diverting water out of the block, through the turbo, will not help heat it any faster.

A remote start setup will be of more use, start it via the key fob before you go outside and get into a nice warm car.
